Cardinal – A proper twitter client
After using twitter for a while, and various clients, I found none are
not up to my specifications of an acceptable client. So, I decided to
write my own, I call it Cardinal.
It’s not Adobe AIR based
I’m not very fond of desktop applications that run in an overglorified web browser. That is what Adobe AIR is. Cardinal is written in Qt4 and libcardinal is heavily based on QTwitLib.
Idea Board
- Build a useful client.
- Screenreader Support
- Multiple Accounts
- Facebook Tools
- Integration with JumpLists, Icon Overlays, et cetera, in Windows 7.
- Usage of Growl on MacOS, and NotifyOSD on Ubuntu (via notification-daemon
freedesktop API’s).
Downloads, Source, and Licensing
Cardinal is licensed under the GPL v3, or at your option, any later version.
